Jeff Bailey Reviews In The Midst Of My Heart's Troubles by Katernia Busch

In The Midst Of My Heart’s Troubles by Katrenia Busch was an absolute delight to read. I’m always impressed with how much a good poet is in touch with their feelings and by how much it seems to apply to me. I actually read it twice through. Each thought seemed to build on the previous poem Well done. I recommend In The Midst Of My Heart’s Troubles as a great vacation by the pool or vacation on the beach read. Poets sure feel the world.

Jeff Bailey Reviews Glacial Fear by Holly Peterson

Glacial Fear by Holly Petersen was right up my ally for so many reasons. One, I like finding debut authors with so much potential. This is Petersen’s first novel, and it was amazing. The main character is Rowan Campbell (strong female lead), a federal agent for the National Park system. When a dismembered body is found at a camp site in the Glacier National Park, Rowen is assigned the case. Good murder case and an excellent conspiracy. I’m all smiles. No, I grew up spending much of my summer in Yosemite National Park and the golden chain of parks in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. For me, the setting was old home week. The descriptions were so real, I swear that I could feel the cool mountain breeze on my face and smell the pine scent in the air. I wondered if Petersen lived in or near or worked in Glacier National Park for real. Well done debut novel Petersen. I can’t wait for the next Holly Petersen thriller. I can’t help but recommend Glacial Fear by Holly Petersen one hundred percent.

Jeff Bailey Reviews Intersection: Parallel Planes #1 by Ayden Lockwood

I love finding a good Sci-Fi that has potential for a long run of future books, a series of movies and/or a TV franchise.  Intersection: Parallel Planes by Ayden Lockwood is just such a find.  In Intersection: Parallel Planes, agents of the Global Research Center (GRC) are concerned when a global world peace seems threatened. Unknown to the GRC, another secret government agency has developed the capability to explore divergent timelines and parallel worlds. With a great cast of characters, Parallel Planes presents a mind-bending series of potential story lines as a Divergent Timeline Team seeks to unravel what seems to be going wrong in our timeline by exploring what has gone wrong (or right) in other timelines. They also want to know who is behind the suspected sabotage. As I said, infinite story possibilities about an infinite number of parallel planes. For instance, why does the Sphinx have a nose in the latest timeline explored and is it significant. Five stars for Parallel Planes and for Ayden Lockwood. I recommend the journey.
